🚨 NAME & SHAME: The £9.50 eBay Scam That Exposes the Ugly Truth About Buyer Fraud 🚨

Back in March, a customer purchased our bestselling Cosmo Canker Powder via eBay for £9.50. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Order placed, dispatched the same day with tracking, as always. Item delivered. End of story? Not quite.
Fast forward a few months, and suddenly we receive an email from eBay: the buyer has filed a chargeback through their bank claiming they “don’t recognise the transaction.”
Excuse us? You placed the order. We packed it. We shipped it. You received it. And now months later, you’re pretending you’ve never heard of us?
This isn’t confusion. This is theft.
And let’s be clear. Chargebacks like this aren’t just financial losses. They’re emotional gut punches to small businesses who are already running on tight margins. You didn’t just steal £9.50. You stole our time, our energy, our trust.
We appealed, of course. Provided all the proof. Tracking. Screenshots. Everything. But we knew how this game ends 🤡 banks always side with the “customer” and never the seller, especially if you’re not some massive corporation with legal muscle.

Why? Because it’s easier to screw over a small business than confront a scammer.
We also did a bit of digging (because we love a good investigation). Turns out this person has very old seller feedback. That’s right, they’ve dabbled in selling but pop back onto eBay only occasionally. Likely just to grab something for free. It’s not just a theory - it’s a pattern. And we’re not the first, we just might be the first to say it out loud.
So let’s say it louder for the people in the back:
⚠️ If you steal from small businesses, we will expose you.
⚠️ If you file false chargebacks, we will name and shame you.
⚠️ If the banks won’t protect us, we’ll protect ourselves. Publicly.
This buyer has been permanently banned from ever purchasing from us again. Blocked. Blacklisted. Deleted.
Their scam has cost us money and we’re not ashamed to say we’re furious. Because we’re a small UK business run by one person who genuinely cares about animals. Every penny goes back into what we do. So when someone steals from us, they’re not just stealing product. They’re robbing time, hope, and purpose.
To the buyer: we hope karma delivers what your bank failed to.
And to our loyal customers: thank you. You’re the reason we keep going despite this nonsense. Every genuine order, every kind message, every photo of a happy pet, that’s what we care about.
